The Time Attendance System will help organization to meet the corporate aims and business needs through the best use of Human Resource. In particular it provides employees attendance using Proximity Card through Electronic Card Reader according to Entry and Exit from authorized gate.
Time Attendance System
Time Attendance System provides a flexible interface to manage leave and regular attendance. The coverage of TAS includes
- It has different interface for different users according to their nature of work where HR Department will do their work according to their roll, TLS will do their work like they are able to define or change Shift, Extra Shift ,Week Off and Leave for their employees. These things are defined by manager who is responsible for this work as Super Admin.
- It has a very strong and unique feature that is power of Super Admin. Super Admin has all responsibility like he can crate Users, Company, Processes, Shifts, Financial Year, Holidays(company decided) and more over this he can authorized and authenticate the users according their roll.

Risk
- Authorized person must fill proper Joining Form to activate the employee
- Authorized person can not avoid changing the shift of the employee, if he gets shift change receipt for accuracy in attendance
- Authorized person can not avoid maintaining leave of the employee, if he gets Leave Approved Form for accuracy in attendance.

Employee Attendance Policy
Following are the analysis of organization rules that is required to design and Develop the system.
- The organization will observe 6 days in a week. One day weekly off is given
Working Shift of an employee may be change according to requirement of job. Details are as follows

- Attendance statement is calculated from 26th of every month till 25th of next month.
- Any employee failing to record the attendance in the prescribed manner shall be treated as absent.
Following Notations are applicable to mark the attendance.

H | Half Day | Total working hours must be greater than 5.5 hours and less than 7.5 hours in a day. |

M | Missing | If employee did not swipe more than one (Single punch) in a day. |
A | Absent | If employee did not swipe in a day (no punch). |

- For outdoor duty, required to submit OD slip to make attendance.
- For Forget to Swipe and Forget to Bring, required to submit approved slip to make attendance
- For out station tours, Attendance In charge will mark attendance of concerned employee before 3 days of his regular attendance
- Attendance in charge can set an extra weekly off in a month for non operational department employee or manager level employee and the above.
- The entitlement for any type of leave to an employee of the company will be applicable for the financial year, starting from 1st April to 31st March
- During the first year of service, employee will be eligible for proportionate leave to be computed from the date of joining.
- Natures of leave are as follow and each will be applicable according to business rule.
- 1. Annual Leave (24 days per annum).
- 2. Maternity Leave (84 days).
- 3. Compensatory Leave
- 4. Advance leave
- 5. Deputation leave
Note: - All leave must be marked by Attendance in Charge prior to regular attendance. In case of advance leave, annual leave balance will be deduct
- An employee is not eligible to avail any leave for the first 3 months of his joining the company except on ground of sickness.
- Employee will be eligible to avail Annual Leave (4 days or more consecutively) only after he/she has completed 6 months of service with the organization.
- For calculating number of days of leave, weekly offs and company declared holidays that fall during the leave period taken by an employee, will not be considered.
- An employee shall be entitled to carry forward 50% of his current Annual Leave each year and the balance gets forfeited.
- Maternity Leave is availed for such female employees have actually worked for a period of not less than 160 days in the twelve months immediately preceding the date of expected delivery.
